Behavior's: Like a Hypsilophodon or Othnielia, Leallynasaura ia a quick, agile and alert animal, and is one of the most common dinosaurs on Isla Sorna. Unfortunatly for the Leallynasaura, they are one of teh most preyed on animals on Isla Sorna, due to them having next to no defense against an attack. It's only saftey is to be near a large herbivore like Iguanodon or Parasaurolophus when they are attacked. Besides that, Leallynasaura does have one defense; if it is cornered, it will lash out aggresivly with its forearms and hindlegs, kicking madly at it's attacker, slashing and scratching at their attacker. Like the Velociraptor species, Leallynasaura is a fast runner, able to reach speeds of up to 55 MPH in long bursts of speed. That itself is another way a Leallynasaura can defend itself; fleeing. Because of it's quickness, alert behavior, Leallynasaura ia literally active day and night. During the breeding season, male Leallynasaura will lash out at each other, snapping and barking aggresivly at each other. Sometimes, aggresivness is not enough. When it happens, male Leallynasaura will charge at each other, and kick at each other, while scratching at their sides. After breeding, female Leallynasaura will begin building their nests in small 'colonies', anf shortly after they will lay the eggs in the nests. After the young hatch, both male and female Leallynasaura will take turns guarding the nests, while two Leallynasaura will watch from a high distance, serving as lookouts, alerting the other's about an approaching predator. Female Leallynasaura are fiercly attenative parents, often bringing regurgitated plants to the young and watching them to make sure they dont wander off from the nest. Young Leallynasaura are very playful and are almost always active, jumping and hopping around, as they happily play with the other young Leallynasaura.
